Repeat Prescriptions

In order to provide a better service for our patients, we run a computerised repeat prescription system.

If your doctor has told you that you do not need to be seen each time, a repeat prescription can be obtained by handing in the tear-off counterfoil at reception after ticking the items required.

Please allow 48-hours before collecting the prescription and avoid running out of medication.

Patients can also request their repeat prescriptions online via the link at the top of this page. Please note; a registration form must be collected from reception before this facility can be used.

To avoid errors we do not accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions.

Local Chemists

The local chemists operate a repeat prescription service. Hand your repeat prescription request to the pharmacy and collect your medicine from them. Please allow an extra 24 hours for this service.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.  Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Social Prescribing

Social prescribing aims to support individuals to take better control over their health and improve their wellbeing. It’s designed for people with a range of social, emotional or practical needs that need a little help navigating their way through the community-based services and organisations available locally.
